Q: Looking at the new reviews for the pride of aloha, they seem not good at all. I am now thinking of canceling my holiday this coming march 2008. Standards seem to be very poor. Just wondering if things will change in the next few weeks.

The main critisism of PoA is the crew - due to employment laws of the US - the ship is registered in the USA then they have to emply US staff. They do not seem to be able to provide the same level of service as the 'usual' staff on cruises who come from Phillippines, Indonesia, India etc....I don't think things will change in the next few weeks, Remember those who complain are probably accostomed to the normal high standards of service on cruises, and this is just a bit different
