We sailed on the gem ( Med July 08 ) I had a cleopatra massage in the spa Fantastic, was told after my treatment I could have used the spa pool area which had a hot tub and warm beds for an hour afterwards but as I had just spent 130 dollars to have body milk massaged all over didn't want to ruin effect of treament, I felt they should have mentioned this when I booked and I would have had just plain massage and made use of spa . There was a cost to use just spa area

We sailed on the Norwegian Jade(Med July 26th)- bottled water was not free. You'll probably find a bottle of both sparkling and still water in your mini bar (around $4.50 a litre). You my also see bottle water on sale at the points of disembarkation. Water (not bottled) and ice is available at all times however. Cant tell you about the spa sorry.
