We boarded the Norwegian Jade in Southampton with no problems at all - compared with having to fly into the USA and get through immigration etc it was a breeze!!
I was impressed with the bathroom in the cabin - a proper shower with a door rather then the useless shower curtain that we have on Princess! Overall though the cabin is a tad small, but for 2 nights it didn't matter.
I don't know what people have been moaning about with waiting to eat in the main dining rooms - we just turned up slightly before we wanted to eat, were given a beeper and waited in a bar until it went off (usually within 10 minutes!). I have to agree that the quality of the food is not as good as Princess, althougth this is not the case in the buffet - it was fantastic, what a choice!! As for seating- yes, it was very busy but you're not the only person on the ship you know!!
Overall great value for money - don't like the mandatory service charge though, i think you should tip who gives you good service.
