We did the QE2 last November and came away disappointed so it was with some reservation we set out on this ship. The mini curise was half the price of the QE2 trip and twice as good. The QE2 is a magnificent ship and we thoroughly enjoyed that part of it but the attitude of all of the crew and the food spoilt it for us and we were in the top restaurant...! By comparison we found the staff and food on the Jade to be excellent. Atmittedely we paid a premium for both evening meals but it was worth it if the other reviews are anything to go by. When we disembarked from the QE2 we were offered tea in paper cups. On the Jade we were offered a full selection of everything from fresh fruit through to mega fry ups. All in all a pleasant experience and we normally curise with Silversea, Seabourn and RSSC etc and can be quite fussy.
